About Us

We first “discovered” our star-filled universe while visiting friends in the Seattle, Washington area in the summer of 2003. When nightfall came, they could hardly wait to show us their “stars”. We were amazed when we turned out the lights and we were suddenly surrounded by a night sky with thousands of stars.  It was so realistic!  We wanted it in our house!

Further investigation revealed that this process had been developed almost twenty years ago by Mr. J. D. Lowe of Stellarvision.  I contacted him with the idea of bringing the concept to the Connecticut area.  One thing led to another, and in late 2003, StarGaze of Connecticut, LLC was born!

When starting our company, we were able to take advantage of the concepts and techniques developed by Stellarvision over the last twenty years.  It is estimated that over 15,000 rooms have been completed in the U.S., Canada, and United Kingdom during this time. 

Our goal is to deliver a quality product in every universe we create and give our customers the same feeling of excitement and amazement that we had when we first “discovered” our star-filled universe.   .  

Our primary areas of service are the state of Connecticut, Western Massachusetts, and the New York counties just north of New York City, but we are willing to travel to other areas.
